My grandfather sent me a link to this video in an e-mail. Its definitely worth watching and sharing with you. If you would like to read the blog where my grandfather found I'll put the link below. And if you are having trouble getting the video to go to full screen, click on the actual video and it will take you to You Tube and then you can watch it full screen there.
This topic is such a powerful one but I feel as if a lot of people still don't take it seriously. A girl I went to school with was texting and driving and got into a car accident. The thing that surprised me most was how many people still were texting and driving after they had a real life example of the dangers of texting while driving. When it comes to this issue I believe there isn't a limit on the number of times you remind someone not to text. In the end you could be saving a life.
Wow. We had a student die from a car accident my senior year in high school just because he wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Your right, there is no limit to how many times you should remind someone. Simple things like wearing a seatbelt and or not texting while driving are easy ways to save a life.
I have seen this video before and it still hits me just as hard. So many times we focus on being connected at all times without thinking that its those very connections that are going to kill you. We all think we can multi-task when in reality we can't. Our brains can't fully focus on more than one thing at a time. So when we are "multi-tasking" we are actually giving half the amount of needed attention to a specific task. Texting and driving is deadly, but many people dont seem to realize this.
